Love a girl in Uniform

Vintage bomber jacket / C&M t-shirt & Misuzi necklace ( Harry & Gretel ) / Paint it Red skirt / Ray Ban sunglasses / Robert Robert heels

This is my version of a uniform at the moment. Things I love that have come back in fashion in a big way. Loving bomber jackets their cool, easy to wear and you can even throw them around your waist now without looking like a complete dork. I found this beauty in an op shop in Brisbane. Although funnily enough I have seen a similar one in Sportsgirl just recently, if you wanted to get the look! Anything metallic I am completely drawn to, like a magpie. I'm so glad that metallic's and glitter are back, because I've had this obsession for quite a while now. Black and white outfits are perfection in my eyes, so clean cut and simple. I have absolutely thrashed this C&M by Camilla and Marc tee from work (Harry & Gretel). It's such a versatile black and white piece but still has a little something interesting to it with the velvet branding across the front. Branding is everywhere I turn at the moment everyone I see has a brand plastered across their front, needless to say I like it! Now I have always loved a pointy shoe and I'm seeing a lot more points around. My Diavolina heels by Robert Robert are my go to black heel, the cut is perfect and they are sassy but simple. Lastly that stunning little initial around my neck is by Misuzi and I wear it just about every day, it's so delicate and pretty and they are all handmade. So these are a few things I'm loving at the moment, hope you've enjoyed the sport luxe, clean cut, metallic madness!

Denim Zip Up

Vintage jumpsuit & belt / Skin & Threads scarf / Marc Jacobs watch / Pigeon Hole bracelet / Topshop boots / Clare Vivier clutch

Vintage is one of the big 'loves' in my life, there is nothing better than buying something that you know your not going to see on someone else walking down the street. Vintage is special, it's one of a kind and it has a history behind it. When I first started thrift shopping it took me a while to warm to the idea of previously owned clothes and that musky vintage smell. Although that soon passed when I started to find some amazing pieces. It's kind of cool to think that once it's washed and worn by someone new it's getting a second life. My obsession continues with denim, I found this crazy, amazing jumpsuit in a Vintage store on Brunswick Street in Melbourne. It's such a great fit, I love the frayed edges, and the fact that its a zip up. It makes me feel a little bit like a race car driver. I collect a lot of vintage accessories as well, and I find that the best belts I own are vintage. They sure don't make belts like they used to! I found this worldly little belt in a Vintage store on William Street in North Bridge. It's a classic black and gold belt. I love the Paris, New York and Rome tablets around it, I've never seen anything like it. Coincidentally they are all places I want to travel to! Paris is ticked off the list, and I think New York is next! One last thing, this gorgeous, thick Skin and Threads scarf is going to be my staple item this winter, it's really easy to wear and goes with everything!
Happy Thrift shopping!

If I was a Boy

Vans cap / Celeste Tesoriero t-shirt / Sass & Bide shorts / Mimco watch / Thomas Sabo ring / Lokas Boots

Some mornings I wake up and think, life would be so much easier if I was a boy. Roll out of bed, chuck on a cool tee, clean my teeth, flick my hair around a bit and I'm on my way. Boys are so effortless sometimes, I know that my boyfriend certainly is. Ten minutes is all that boy needs to be ready and looking godly! It's not fair is it? Well since I can't ever have the easy perks of being a Boy, I have decided to introduce some 'boy' into my wardrobe. Easy t-shirts, boyfriend jeans, snapbacks, Vans, converse sneakers and pretty much anything oversized.
I'm loving this Sport Luxe phase that's passing through, It's making it a lot easier for me to get dressed in the morning and is also so comfortable to wear. I'm really in the need of some Nike, black and white 'free run' sneakers, although I think half the girls in Perth have them so wish me luck finding a pair! This Celeste Tesoriero t-shirt that I'm wearing is one of my new favourites, it's really easy to wear, if I'm not wearing it with denim shorts or my boyfriend jeans I team it up with a black pencil skirt and ankle boots for a more sassy look. Vans has introduced me to my first snapback cap. I was shopping with my brother and picked it up for him because you can't go wrong with Camo,  and I soon decided it looked better on me. My boot's are from Hunter Store in Leederville, they have the BEST selection of boot's this winter it's insane. I walked away with these cute, green suede, rubber healed bad boys. I love them because there a more casual, fun boot and the rippled rubber underneath is really cool.

On day's where you feel like looking effortless turn to the 'Boy' look, I swear by it!

Forever Young

Tigerlily hat / I.d.s tank / Vintage skirt / Jeffrey Campbell boots / Owl of Eden necklace

Sunset by the sea side and fish & chips, I can't think of anything better on a saturday afternoon. It's nice to have a Saturday off amongst the weekends and weekends of twenty first birthdays, and just get to slip into something a bit more comfortable & not so dressy. This outfit is typical of me, I can never decide what style I want to be. It all depends on what mood I'm in, that day! Today it was Bohemian rock chic. With my Boho embroidered hat and jewels, Rock chick forever young tank and studded boots, also bringing in that pretty element with my patterned flip skirt and pearl beaded bag. So I would say my style is eclectic. My favourite pieces to this outfit are my new Jeffrey Campbell boot's, My Vintage skirt that I found at Miss Brown's Vintage and my favourite little pearl vintage Olga Berg pouch bag. I haven't really decided what style I should be yet, I'll let you know if I ever figure it out!
Don't hold your breathe though.
