Triangl meets Valley

Triangl Swimwear bikini || Valley Eyewear - Wolves (stocked at Harry & Gretel)

I wish everyday I could wake up in this tropical paradise. Eating sweet French toast for breakfast and drinking Pina Coladas before midday, reclined on a deck chair in the warm sun. I shot this post with major beach hair and pale skin over a month ago on my holiday in Singapore's beautiful Sentosa Island. (Sorry it's a bit late!) These photos give me major nostalgia, I need to be back on a serene, remote island ASAP!

My two summer essentials that were first in the suitcase were my Triangl bikinis and my Valley shades. Triangl Swimwear is a hot new neoprene bikini label that I came across on Instagram. Their photo posts are ridiculously enticing and summery and full of 'fit-spiration.' In other words inspiration for getting fit! The hardest part was choosing a pair because they’re all so nice! I chose the 'Tilly Sunbursts.' I love the black mesh overlay on the crisp white and the peachy coloured bottoms. Each bikini set comes with a cute matching neoprene bag too which is a nice little bonus! I want to send a special thank you to the beautiful girls working at Triangl for their Amazing customer service and for getting my Tilly Sunbursts expressed to me on time before I flew out on my holiday. The girls are very helpful; it's so rare to find such dedicated, lovely customer service online! Triangl has a live chat on their page where girls are waiting around the clock to answer any questions and queries you have.

My Triangl bathers go hand in hand and tie in so well with my favourite shades from Valley Eyewear. These are the 'WOLVES,' with a matte black frame and mirror lenses, they are definitely one of the quirkier shapes from the collection but I love how different they look. Valley is such a great brand, their frames are very well made, comfortable and the designs are simplistic but striking. Valley Eyewear is a fairly new Australian brand that started up in the Gold coast. The label has started with such a strong reaction and I have no doubt it's only going to rise. So everyone get on it and suss out these two incredible Australian labels. They might be a nice addition to the Christmas Wish list.

Summer has arrived!!

Number 8

Co. By Cotton On jumper / Poppy Lissiman skirt / Sunny Girl jacket (Harry & Gretel) / Vintage purse / Marc Jacobs watch / Behind the Monkey rings / River Island heels

Today's look is Sport Luxe meets, sleek and sexy, with a side of gold accessories! I have always embraced colour and pattern, though recently all I want to put on is black, white, and denim. Keeping all my looks fairly simple and plain. Wearing less statement jewellery and more fine pieces. This cute white number eight knit is by the fairly new Co By Cotton On label. Co By Cotton On does some really great easy to wear staples, that are very street style and fashion forward. I have not taken this pleather angle cut skirt off since I bought it! It's a staple piece in my wardrobe and I dress it up and down. A great buy was this Sunny Girl denim jacket from Harry and Gretel. It is a really nice cut and fit, and looks amazing when you want to rock out a double denim outfit. Lastly the last touch to my look was the gold accessories. Gold accessories is a great way to dress up and excite a plain outfit. Also points are back and they are staying!! Love a good pointy shoe!

xx with love Doc

Black + White = Grey

Saxony mens beanie / Vintage necklace / Huming sweater / Charlotte Says jeans / Harvest clutch / Unisa boots

Hipster kids of the world you have brainwashed me with your sweat shirts and your baggy beanie's. I'm officially fashion comfortable, and when I say this I literally mean comfortable! Love, love, loving my new sweat shirt and white ripped jeans. Both are really good basics and mix and match really well into the wardrobe. I wanted to keep this outfit quite simple, just black, white, and grey. It's quite casual so I popped on this gorgeous little jewelled necklace to dress it up slightly. To introduce a bit of colour I wore my bright screen printed Harvest clutch. No two are the same and they are one hundred percent organic so I thought that was pretty amazing. It's more of a little art piece then a clutch. I fell in love with this Huming jumper, I love the eagle that's stitched into the fabric and the adjustable zips at the front. It's quite oversized so the zips give it some needed shape. I'm loving anything ripped up and distressed so when I saw these white ripped up Charlotte Says jeans I had to have them! The only annoying thing about wearing white pants is, you always have to watch where you sit! Lately I have been living in jeans, I used to be such a gypsy, long skirt type of girl. I think my style is definitely evolving. I haven't even wanted to touch any of my pretty dresses this season. I suppose it's just a Winter thing, I'm sure I'll find a new love for them again in the summer time. For now
I'm happy just being cool and comfortable!

p.s. How amazing is this art in the background, I'm still trying to find out who the artist is!

Crazy Sun Protectors

Le Specs sunglasses / Poppy Lissiman Addition - Kenzo inspired tank / Motel Rocks skirt / Unisa boots / Zara Bryson bracelet

Everyone needs a pair of crazy sun protectors, I admit they're not exactly the most timeless piece to have, but they are super fun to wear and make you feel a little bold and daring. So if you want a pair like me, but don't want to spend a fortune on something that may come and go with the trends, try Le Specs. Le Specs have brought out some very cool reflective styles which are good quality and reasonably affordable. Winter this year seams to be all about adding that metallic or reflective aspect to that simple plain outfit. It's a crazy contrast that can really give that kick to a boring everyday look. As you can see I went double the crazy with this look, teaming up my pleated Motel Rocks skirt and my Le Specs sunnies. I just couldn't couldn't resist! A blogger friend of mine 'AndAndrea' always says, "Dare to wear, smile if they stare!" What a great method to live by. Although if you find this look a little too crazy, you can always just throw on a pair of reflective shades like these with a plain white tee and some ripped jeans and be good to go. Another trend affordable find was my Kenzo inspired tank that I picked up at 'Poppy Lissiman Addition.' I'm definitely not the only one loving and obsessing over that amazing Tiger face at the moment. I wouldn't mind a huge Kenzo tiger printed on my bedroom wall, It would make a great art piece.
I'll leave you to reflect on the subject.
