Crazy Sun Protectors

Le Specs sunglasses / Poppy Lissiman Addition - Kenzo inspired tank / Motel Rocks skirt / Unisa boots / Zara Bryson bracelet

Everyone needs a pair of crazy sun protectors, I admit they're not exactly the most timeless piece to have, but they are super fun to wear and make you feel a little bold and daring. So if you want a pair like me, but don't want to spend a fortune on something that may come and go with the trends, try Le Specs. Le Specs have brought out some very cool reflective styles which are good quality and reasonably affordable. Winter this year seams to be all about adding that metallic or reflective aspect to that simple plain outfit. It's a crazy contrast that can really give that kick to a boring everyday look. As you can see I went double the crazy with this look, teaming up my pleated Motel Rocks skirt and my Le Specs sunnies. I just couldn't couldn't resist! A blogger friend of mine 'AndAndrea' always says, "Dare to wear, smile if they stare!" What a great method to live by. Although if you find this look a little too crazy, you can always just throw on a pair of reflective shades like these with a plain white tee and some ripped jeans and be good to go. Another trend affordable find was my Kenzo inspired tank that I picked up at 'Poppy Lissiman Addition.' I'm definitely not the only one loving and obsessing over that amazing Tiger face at the moment. I wouldn't mind a huge Kenzo tiger printed on my bedroom wall, It would make a great art piece.
I'll leave you to reflect on the subject.

Slam Dunk Nicholas

Rummage collar / Adidas tank / Nicholas the Label jeans (Harry & Gretel) / Mimco watch / Converse sneakers

Two big things I love at the moment are sport luxe and pattern. So why not combine the two right? As long as both pieces work together, then go for it! Usually your patterned piece has to be what you work the rest of your outfit around, so that's where you start. I have absolutely worn these Nicholas floral tapestry jeans to death, you can easily dress them up or down. They are the 'slam dunk' of patterned jeans in my eyes! They're high waisted, cropped and the pattern is insanely good. You can pick just about any colour under the sun out of them. I paired my jeans up with this cute green Adidas cropped tank that I found on Asos Marketplace. I'm not usually one for showing off that much midriff but I felt it had to be done to have this combo together. My Converse were a no brainer they tied in with the white stripes on my Adidas tank. I'm not a pro at shooting hoops unfortunately but I flipped out when I found this Converse basketball at home. Just the idea of my shoes and my ball matching was too cool for my mind to handle, which is why Tom and I ended up at the nearest basketball court. Embrace the sport luxe.

Love a girl in Uniform

Vintage bomber jacket / C&M t-shirt & Misuzi necklace ( Harry & Gretel ) / Paint it Red skirt / Ray Ban sunglasses / Robert Robert heels

This is my version of a uniform at the moment. Things I love that have come back in fashion in a big way. Loving bomber jackets their cool, easy to wear and you can even throw them around your waist now without looking like a complete dork. I found this beauty in an op shop in Brisbane. Although funnily enough I have seen a similar one in Sportsgirl just recently, if you wanted to get the look! Anything metallic I am completely drawn to, like a magpie. I'm so glad that metallic's and glitter are back, because I've had this obsession for quite a while now. Black and white outfits are perfection in my eyes, so clean cut and simple. I have absolutely thrashed this C&M by Camilla and Marc tee from work (Harry & Gretel). It's such a versatile black and white piece but still has a little something interesting to it with the velvet branding across the front. Branding is everywhere I turn at the moment everyone I see has a brand plastered across their front, needless to say I like it! Now I have always loved a pointy shoe and I'm seeing a lot more points around. My Diavolina heels by Robert Robert are my go to black heel, the cut is perfect and they are sassy but simple. Lastly that stunning little initial around my neck is by Misuzi and I wear it just about every day, it's so delicate and pretty and they are all handmade. So these are a few things I'm loving at the moment, hope you've enjoyed the sport luxe, clean cut, metallic madness!

Denim Zip Up

Vintage jumpsuit & belt / Skin & Threads scarf / Marc Jacobs watch / Pigeon Hole bracelet / Topshop boots / Clare Vivier clutch

Vintage is one of the big 'loves' in my life, there is nothing better than buying something that you know your not going to see on someone else walking down the street. Vintage is special, it's one of a kind and it has a history behind it. When I first started thrift shopping it took me a while to warm to the idea of previously owned clothes and that musky vintage smell. Although that soon passed when I started to find some amazing pieces. It's kind of cool to think that once it's washed and worn by someone new it's getting a second life. My obsession continues with denim, I found this crazy, amazing jumpsuit in a Vintage store on Brunswick Street in Melbourne. It's such a great fit, I love the frayed edges, and the fact that its a zip up. It makes me feel a little bit like a race car driver. I collect a lot of vintage accessories as well, and I find that the best belts I own are vintage. They sure don't make belts like they used to! I found this worldly little belt in a Vintage store on William Street in North Bridge. It's a classic black and gold belt. I love the Paris, New York and Rome tablets around it, I've never seen anything like it. Coincidentally they are all places I want to travel to! Paris is ticked off the list, and I think New York is next! One last thing, this gorgeous, thick Skin and Threads scarf is going to be my staple item this winter, it's really easy to wear and goes with everything!
Happy Thrift shopping!
